When Cirque du Soleil opened its show “Kooza” in Toronto, Ontario, they wanted to bring the whimsy and magic of its production to a digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertisement and creating a 3D Forced Perspective billboard was the perfect fit. However, the main challenge was to have a photo-realistic animation of one of the main roles of the show – “The Trickster.” The solution was to have a 3D scan of the performer recreating their role in order to bring that asset into the animation and then pop it out of the screen.
