When Sports Illustrated wanted to launch the 50th swim suit edition, they certainly went BIG! 17 incredible models traveling to all seven continents to gather some of the most amazing footage you’ve ever seen.
Go2 modelled the entire side of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas so it could be turned into a projection surface of 360 feet wide and 141 feet high.
For the 5 minutes presentation, the audience was taken on a journey to far flung places of the world where the Sports Illustrated team had performed some incredible photo shoots and shot some amazing footage, totalling up to more than 1TB. Go2 was giving all the footage with instructions to edit everything down to just 5 minutes.
Besides the video edit, we also created an epic set of animations to go with the footage that reflected the locations of each of the photo shoots. Go2 modelled the entire side of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas so it could be turned into a projection surface of 360 feet wide and 141 feet high. Big transitions and irreverent humour was added in to some of the scenes to match the Sports Illustrated brand.
The entire event was live-streamed across the web on SI.com, SwimDaily.com, People.com, Time.com, EW.com and Instyle.com.
