The second Telly Award Winning Recon Jet TV commercial Go2 has produced from concept to completion all in house, simply titled ‘Dawn’. All shot in Vancouver BC, in just one day. Go2’s project management and rock star camera crew world liked a well oiled machine to make it happen.
Cinematic framing and over cranked slow motion shots, complete with CG effects all blend together bringing the Recon Jet Dawn storyboard to life.
The biggest challenge for this TV commercial was to capture all the diverse footage in just one day. Luckily we’re based in Vancouver BC, so there are a ton of locations we know of that look great on film. That, combined with great planning, a great camera team and project management meant we made it through the packed shoot schedule and were still smiling while capturing the very last shot.
Recon have been a client of Go2 since before they even had an actual product made. We’ve created multiple videos for them from conceptual, to demonstrative and now full HD TV advertising. Recon were recently bought up by Intel and we’re very proud to say that we have been a key part of the incredible journey.
If you’re launching a new tech product and you want it to look its best, put your best foot forward

In this video we tell the story of how a small fishing company was born in 1962, who’s mission was to simply provide “the best quality seafood the ocean has to offer” and how they are now the leading canned seafood brand in Canada and part of the Jim Pattison Group.
With Ocean Brands expanding their line of seafood products and a major corporate event coming up, they wanted a video that not only illustrated their product diversity, but also told the story of Oceans beginnings and journey of growth to become Canada’s largest seafood brand.
After very detailed preproduction stages of scripting and styling for the video, we ended up choosing beautifully designed 3D animation for the product section, allowing us to make the products look as great as possible as we highlighted the regions of the world from which they come and well designed motion graphics for the past, present and future sections. The result is a very beautiful looking video that tells a great story. Oceans were extremely happy with the result. We would love to do the same for you. The ILEA Live committee came to us looking for a creative and unique solution for the opener video and content for their 2016 Esprit Gala.
The theme of the event was ‘Alice through the looking glass’ with a Dali-inspired feel.
We decided to take the audience through a slow, guided journey traveling down the rabbit hole. We created various mystical environments and integrated similar details from the original movie.
We created a series of ‘Alice themed’ images, from mazes and clocks to forest elements and color-treated them to work seamlessly together with the theme and layered 2D and 3D objects into the imagery to help bring the footage to life.
From there, we animated fluid camera movement to give the audience the effect traveling through each of the environments. The right choice of music played a big part in creating an engaging animation, with an impactful crescendo to get the Gala audience excited for the show.
The award show opener was commented on by many attendees as being ‘truly cinematic’ and represented the theme perfectly.
Every year, Business in Vancouver highlights the achievements of BC’s young entrepreneurs, executives and professionals by finding 40 outstanding professionals worthy of the Forty under 40 distinction. The winners are honored at a special awards gala, and Go2 was thrilled to produce the opening sequence for the event, along with supporting elements.
Having worked with BIV for several years now, we knew that we would need to create a high-energy opener to get attendees excited for the event… and we did just that!

When we design your corporate video, first of all… we get to know you. This ensures our script writers fully understand what your corporate message needs to say to be a success. Having us create the script this way also allows our creative team to work very closely, ensuring the visual story we build, works perfectly with the written word and voice over. The result is an on brand audio visual story that engages and educates your audience.
As with most corporate messages, Credential had a lot they wanted to say in one video. Our task was to create a concise script and develop a quality corporate video using 2D motion graphics. Calming to listen to and easy on the eye, flowing seamlessly from one scene to the next. All done whilst keeping the brand image front and centre.

Professionally produced content that gets you the attention you deserve, educates your audience and makes your business or product look amazing. Mezzi, a producer of smart, luxury leather accessories, uniquely integrating beautiful design with smart technology, by incorporating connectivity between your bag and your iPhone, launched in 2014.
Each and every shot of this video was carefully planned out and captured to reflect the quality and precision of the Mezzi brand. Extreme close ups and rack focuses combined with elegant sweeping steady cam shots and wide angled views, in a style very fitting for the Mezzi brand
As a part of their launch, they were interested in featuring the artist behind the design, construction and quality of their products.
Stylish Shots Combined With Elegant Editing.
Go2 Productions suggested filming the Mezzi designer, Raif Adelberg, in an environment in which he is most inspired – his studio on Bowen Island, BC, to show their viewers a behind the scenes look at the detailed craft that goes into each of their bags. Along side the opportunity to film a beautiful environment, we focused on getting steady-cam shots and slow pans of Raif working within his studio to further communicate the space and the multiple design steps behind getting a finished product.
For the final edit, we aimed to edit the footage with fluidity and finesse, alongside 2D/3D inspirational messaging, representing and communicating the innovative beauty behind the Mezzi product.
If you have a “widget”, a “wongle” or a “wonder how that works” kind of product, 3D Animation can help you explain it to buyers, potential customers or even the world – no matter how small or how large it is.
In this example we take a look at how we used 3D animation to explain an innovative little product that keeps your automobile smelling fresh, whilst charging or holding your smart phone securely in place.
The product is called FreshTech which is available in two models – One attaches to the air vents of your vehicle, the other inserts into the powered outlet in your vehicle, both have replaceable scent cartridges, that keep your car smelling fresh for up to 30 days.
When used effectively, 3D Animation can demonstrate a product more clearly and concisely than any other medium. You can explain how something works 100% accurately every single time, without even having the product with you.
3D Animation can enhance a product’s appearance – making it more attractive and dynamic while enhancing its perceived value in a controlled, fully branded environment. You can show and explain a product that is still in development, how its complex inner workings will operate or interact with other products or machinery. The applications of using 3D Animation to explain a product are truly limitless.
Perhaps the most magical thing about using 3D Animation to explain how something works is that you can show things that could never be achieved with live action. For example, in the FreshTech sample on this page, we show how the device inserts into the supplied power slot and attaches to the air vent, comes apart to allow old cartridges to be replaced and even how an iPhone slots into place – all this explained in less than 20 seconds, with no hands. That’s how concise it can be using 3D Animation to explain your “widget” or “wongle”.
If you have a product or hard to explain “wongle”, contact Go2 Productions today, and we’ll explain it for you using 3D Animation.
